Hallandale Beach is an Intracoastal community with breathtaking water views offering waterfront homes and high rise condos. Hallandale Beach is a popular resort destination with over a mile of white sandy ocean beaches, world-class golf courses and several resorts. In August 1999 Hallandale was changed to Hallandale Beach .
Hallandale Beach recently completed recreational facilities that include the $1.5-million Hallandale Cultural Community Center , the Hallandale Adult Community Athletic Center , a tennis center, municipal swimming pool and two in-line skating rinks. Hallandale Beach is the only Florida community with two pari-mutuel betting attractions: Gulfstream Park and the Greyhound Track.
